Blanket America’s Support towards the End of Poverty

Blanket America was able to broadcast its cause and support for the eradication of poverty in America through its feature on QVC last December 28 and 29.  American families who tune in to QVC were able to get a glimpse of the beautiful Patchwork Heritage Quilt and information on what Blanket America is all about.  Sales are expected to be strong thanks to this QVC broadcast, which will not only help spread the word on unity, charity, and strength to the people but also help the poor and needy families all over the country.
Blanket America is a newly formed charitable organization that aims to provide assistance to the needy American families located in different states all over the country.  With over 40 million people who are jobless and can’t afford the basic necessities, it is through this project that Blanket America responds to President Barack Obama’s call to action to join hands and unite as a people in order to fight against the economical distresses and issues facing the country.  This organization hopes to reach their goal of helping at least a million families during the holidays and more in the upcoming New Year through its Buy 1, Give 1 model.
The Patchwork Heritage Quilt is Blanket America’s main product.  Quilts have long been a part of America’s tradition and heritage, so the Patchwork Heritage Quilt serves as the company’s medium of spreading the message of unity and charity to the community.  The Buy 1, Give 1 model basically means for every Patchwork Heritage Quilt bought by a customer, a well-crafted fleece blanket is donated to a needy America family.  It is Blanket America’s goal to help a million needy families through this project, which is why the company is constantly encouraging consumers to take part in this cause and to show their support by purchasing a Patchwork Heritage Quilt.
Blanket America’s cause is a noble one, which is why several big-name companies have shown their support as well.  Amazon.com, JC Penney, Fast Company, and QVC are just some of the companies that believe in the same cause as Blanket America.  Aside from this, Blanket America has partnered itself with Gifts in Kind International, known as one of the best charities in the country. Gifts in Kind, International works closely with Blanket America in distributing the blankets to the poor families all over the country as their way of showing their support in uplifting poverty slowly but steadily.
